Getting to Wrocław


By plane

The Wrocław Copernicus Airport is located in the south-west part of the city, about 10 km away from the city centre.

The airport is served by Ryanair, Wizz Air, Lufthansa, Germanwings, LOT Polish Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines System and others airlines .

You can get from the airport to the city centre by:

  • Taxi, which can be found just outside the terminal (approx. cost 70 PLN)

  • Bus – municipal transportation (cost 4.40 PLN). Bus No. 406 goes to/from the Central Railway/Bus Station (Dworcowa Street) everyday every 20 minutes. The entire journey takes approximately 45 minutes (depending on the traffic). Timetable
  • Rent a car - Car rental desks are situated in the arrival hall (free access area). Car rental car parks are located in the front of the terminal.


By train

The main rail station Wrocław Główny, serves as a major hub in the Polish rail network, with many daily trains arriving from and departing to all major Polish cities. There are also international connections to Hamburg (via Berlin), Prague, Dresden and Budapest. You can plan your trip with the route planner of Polish State Railways or buy Intercity tickes on-line.


By car

Wrocław is located next to the A4 motorway (connected to the German A4 autobahn) and well communicated with Berlin, Warsaw, Katowice and Kraków. You can use Google Maps to plan your trip by car.
